By using AirBridge you agree to the following. It's intentionally short — the service itself is simple and we don't want to hide anything important in legalese.
What AirBridge is
A client-side tool that lets two browsers open a direct WebRTC channel to move files between them. There is no server-side storage. There is no inspection of file content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use AirBridge to:
- Transfer content you do not have the legal right to share, including copyrighted material and personal data of third parties.
- Distribute malware, phishing payloads, or material that violates the law in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of the receiving party.
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or abuse the signaling infrastructure (flooding the service, impersonating other users' room codes, reverse-engineering auth assumptions, etc.).
AirBridge cannot see the files moving through it, so responsibility for the contents of a transfer rests entirely with the person sending and the person receiving.
No warranty
AirBridge is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Network connectivity issues, browser compatibility quirks, and unexpected outages of the signaling relay are a normal part of WebRTC and may cause transfers to fail.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AirBridge and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption — arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of AirBridge after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the AirBridge project is maintained, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
